Cayo Coco , Cuba

Cayo Coco is surrounded by magnificent white sandy beaches and crystal clear
waters. Accommodation is limited to a few large resorts that offer excellent
quality/price ratio. This destination is designed for relaxing and enjoying water
sports offered on the premises.

Covered by thickets of mangroves, palms and other forestation, it has a 22-
kilometre strip of beach. A variety of excellent resorts—from the comfortable
to the luxurious—line the beach. The island is named after the white ibis (coco).

Unlike Mexican destinations or the Dominican Republic, there is no town
nearby Cayo Coco, therefore no shopping or nightlife outside the premises. To
visit typical Cuban villages, you must join guided tours or rent a car and visit
on your own.
